Just came back from the deep, dark gold mines of a 2011-2014 era fandom rp blog, and it was a really stark and shocking reminder of how much attitudes toward shipping have changed (in a negative way) in the last 10+ years.
Cringe culture is going stronger than ever. People have just switched from calling things “cringe compilations” to “call out posts.”
