There’s some new manga out that appears to be yuri except it turns out one of the ‘girls’ is actually a crossdressing boy, and there’s the usual horrified cries of “queerbaiting!” “surprise straight!” “lesbian erasure!” “why must endgame always be a boy?? 😫”Meanwhile the manga in question literally has ‘otokonoko’ in its title.
People are really comfortable ignoring non-american queer gender expressions, aren’t they?
