🤣🤣🤣 Hahah yes it’s very different than our usual hyperfixations/source fandoms, isn’t it?
Pokemon is a personal fandom of mine (🔍⚔️) and my brother (🕷️🕷️) for the most part and it’s just a ‘for fun’/normal fandom, so we interact with it in a very different way XD
I needed a break/rest today so I hunted up my DS and then I couldn’t focus so I’m just watching a lets play of heartgold and reblogging art that makes me happy 🙂
I do have opinions and ships for pokemon but I don’t have any of the like, big firm headcanons and stuff that we do for RE and AA. XD
Oh I could never be normal about Pokemon. I have too many Thoughts.
It was my first Big hyperfixation :3 Though I’ve mostly only ever really engaged with the mainline games.
Do you have a favorite Generation? I’m a sucker for anything out of Unova (it was my first and is still the best somehow)
Hahah, well when I say we’re “normal” about it, mostly I mean it isn’t a kin source, so we don’t have any system members with kintypes from there/any fictives from there XD
It was one of our early hyperfixations too! Blue was our first game and we’re still super nostalgic about it.
Gold/Silver is probably our favorite though we like the remakes better than the originals these days.
I also have a huge soft spot for SwSh!! I was surprised by how much I liked it and like the characters.
I actually missed all the Unova games, but everyone loves them so I know Im in for a treat when I actually get to go back and play them.
I genuinely can’t recommend the Unova games enough. I played Black and I’m pretty sure N was my first ever proper f/o. I should get back with him he’s such a Guy
SwSh felt kinda disappointing but given how bad I thought they were gonna be they were nice! I skipped SV though :/ Those trailers did not hype me up.
Do you like any particular type? I’m really fond of Grass-types (it was a Sign) and Normal-types.
I think I probably liked SwSh so much because it was the first new game I’d actually given a shot since Diamond and Pearl! I’m really looking forward to going back through the series. I haven’t played SV either– I heard so many bad things about them!
Hmmm, I think I trend toward flying and ghost types a lot!
