One thing I do love about Edgeworth as a character is that his memory canonically sucks. Mr. “I put little faith in my memory, I only believe in hard evidence.” He forgot he met Ema Skye. He forgot he met Kay Faraday. It took him a while to be remember them.
Alot of really smart people in fiction get depicted with perfect photographic memories and yknow, forgetful people can be smart too.
