trying to explain to various friends that if I knew nbc Hannibal in real life and he served me food and I knew there is people in it, I’d try to get out of eating it if I could do so safely
but if I were IN nbc Hannibal and I knew about the people I’d eat it anyway because the food looks really good and there is a lot you can get away with in the nbc Hannibal-verse before you cross the threshold beyond being a normal person
like at some point in season 2 if you haven’t eaten at least a little bit of people you’re sorta behind the times. i hate being left out
perhaps on some level his party guests knew and didn’t want to acknowledge it
