Do I ship them or not ship them? Well something like that.
I like to imagine that Maya and Regina Berry went on a couple dates but decided to be friends. Franziska and Ema Skye are exes. Edgeworth and Lang had a satisfying one night stand. (aside from the barking and howling in bed) Apollo and Klavier are dating and in the process of deciding whether they want a committed relationship. Lana Skye and Mia dated in college broke it off on good terms and after Diego went into a coma had a rivals situationship never commiting in fear of how it effects their reputations. Kristoph and Phoenix had a friends with benefits relationship but Kristoph wanted a real relationship to indulge in toxic possessiveness. Gumshoe and Edgeworth was unrequited on Gumshoe’s part, if they had dated Edgeworth had far too many mental hangups to develop any emotional or physical intimacy on top of the awkward boss-henchman power dynamic. Maya and Pheonix unknowingly developed a queer platonic relationship being roommates and co-parenting Pearl. They would have probably had a marriage-of-convenience if Maya didn’t move back to Kurain Village.
For alot of “ships” I think more relatable complexity is what they need.
