there’s definitely a lot of social shame surrounding the idea of wanting to be the dominant/aggressive/pursuing partner in a relationship. It is not what our culture romanticizes, and in fact, it hypes it up as something scary, and potentially dangerous.
I however, have no shame, and don’t mind being regarded as potentially a little bit dangerous.
the thing about me is that I was formed and molded by trashy, badly translated 1990s/2000s yaoi manga.
