One of the things I love about the Ace Attorney series is not just how expressive the spites are (especially the later series ones) but how much character they convey.
Specifically right now I am thinking of Kristoph Gavin who doesn’t have a single sprite that has an ‘open’ posture. Every single one of his sprites is extremely condensed to his body, closed, protective of himself, and secretive. Even during his breakdown.
