Is anybody in ace attorney actually gay?
No, the actual series is incredibly homophobic, and uses queer stereotypes and queer coding for humor and villains.
At one point the main character calls a flamboyant man a “fruitcake”.
*Technically speaking* the game heavily implies that Lana Skye, a villain, has impure romantic feelings for another female character. And that Aura Blackquill, another villain, has impure romantic feelings for another female character.
No character is ever stated outright to have romantic feelings about a character of the same sex. There are no trans characters.
Many of the characters that people headcanon as gay don’t actually canonically spend a lot of time together– though of course there is plenty of subtext you can read into their relationships.
I will say that none of the main characters have stated or overt relationships of any kind. The het ships are just as nonexistent as the gay ones.
