Something about a lawyer who felt an obligation to excel at an early age, likely sacrificing much of her childhood in pursuit of it whilst studying in Europe. She has to be completely unflappable in the face of great pressure and trauma – not limited to the lost of her parent and a prosecutor she loves dearly – to see that prosecutorial brother-figure who had selfishly “chosen death” and placed a vast ocean between himself and her, not long after the loss of his mentor (her parent and someone they both loved and cherished). And she does it all despite the belittlement and people refusing to take her remotely seriously due to her age & femininity.
