I’ve always been so confused by people being squicked out about someone calling an underaged character hot when the character isn’t drawn in a way that make them look like a child. Like I think Yusuke Urameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho is crazy hot and regularly forget that he’s canonly 14 because 14 year olds don’t have fucking abs like that.
People have a right to be squicked out by anything, but I think there is often a performative element to announcing that you find it gross when other people express attraction to drawings of people with obviously adult bodies.
