Hate how fandom purity culture has made character age discourse so overwhelming and loud that that those people will tell you it’s inappropriate to speculate on who characters who are canonically children might date in a fanfiction set it the future.

Where is the problem if they are older? Heck, I remember reading on FF.net when I was around 15 yo a smut story about *adult* Pokémon Ash and Misty getting married and the aftermath. I never got a problem with it since they were adults. Also fictional characters.
Yep. There IS no problem. And yet the pro-censorship fandom crowd will literally call you a pedophile for it.
