I once again remind you there’s no such thing as an “illegal ship” bc it’s fucking fiction

Exactly. Anyone who calls it an ‘illegal ship’ is trying to appeal to other virtue-signalling morons by implying that said ship is somehow ‘against the law’, and therefor abhorrent.

Again, here we have Christian fundamentalists dressing up their disgust as moral outrage and using it as an excuse to bully.

These idiots KNOW that if they were to actually take their asses to a police station to report a ship between FAKE PEOPLE, they would be laughed out of the building.

So, these Christian fundamentalist prey on the vulnerable and less-experienced children of the fandom who haven’t been around the block like us fandom elders, and they groom these kids into thinking certain fictional ships are *gasp* against the LAW, but the police aren’t actually doing anything about it (No shit, because they don’t waste resources on fucking ‘thought crimes’).

And they encourage kids and the easily swayed into harassing creators by suicide baiting and threatening to doxx them, do them bodily harm, etc.

That’s why when I hear anyone say ‘iLLeGaL sHiP’, I roll my eyes and smash that block button.

There’s no point in trying to reason with idiots.

tbh i don’t think they do know that. i don’t think most antis have ever tried to report someone to the police for that before. i was the first anti to try it in anti spaces. i was repeatedly discouraged. and lo and behold i found out mos police don’t take that stuff seriously. they just tell you to block a user even if the user is an admitted map.

and this is the state of california where a lot of people think the law adheres to antis right now. that moment showed me that is not an inherent truth at all. and it was the beginning of me waking up form antis’ bullshit. the ways most antis talk about how their callout posts are total proof of their claims that proshippers are pro contact pedos leads me to believe almost none of them have actually ever used a callout post as evidence in a police report. if they did they’d know most police aren’t gonna be obligated to immediately look at such proof.

like what happened with me.
