8. Game of the year?
Well I hate to follow the crowd but the best game we played this year that actually came out in 2022 was Eldin Ring. Hubert especially was obsessed with it– he was the one who ended up buying it, after weeks of hand wringing. He never buys anything for himself, so we were very excited to get it for him. The atmosphere is definitely all our favorite part.
