Being proship is not the same as being pro incest y’know.
It means anti-harassment.
So even if im squicked and dislike certain tropes, im not about to be a bitch to other people and make it THEIR problem. I can block and move on. OR Filter their tags to avoid seeing THAT content.
This is not a all or nothing type of thing even. You can follow a blog and block most of their shit. (Like when your buddies get into a show you cant stand but still wanna see em on your dash)
Just because i support your right to write x does NOT mean i enjoy x, it means that even if i dont, you should have the right to enjoy it or write it.
Because nobody is getting hurt. Fictional characters cannot be hurt. The only time a real person gets hurt is when OTHER real people do things to THEM. which at this point, just makes it feel like we’re all collectively trying to explain the concept of reality to a bunch of 1st graders.
