This happened back when I was a teenager, but I once commented on a Jake Muller AMV that I loved his character simply because he reminded me a lot of my brother and playing his campain felt almost like I was experiencing the same adventure with him. And some fucking asshole decided to shit on me, saying Jake was just a worthless, shitty character and I was a dumbass for liking him. Literally took my friend stepping on to get that dickhead to leave me alone. That was my first ever experience with an anti and really made me avoid anything to do with antis. Seeing how they are now… Jesus fucking Christ glad I made the right call on not interacting with them ever again.
People who shit on others for liking something that they don’t like are assholes, plain and simple.
