Apollo sipped his drink, drops of condensation dripping over his fingers as the icy glass sweated in the heat as much as he did. He smiled fondly down at Kristoph and Klavier who were laying side by side on beach towels in the sand, shirts off under the sun, their golden hair tugged by the cool breeze in the air.
For a moment, Apollo closed his eyes and let the sound of the surf, the calls of the gulls and the crowd surround him.
“Would you mind helping me with a little more sunscreen?"
Apollo opened his eyes to find Kirstoph had sat halfway up and was smiling fondly at him. He flushed, realizing that he must have looked a million miles away.
"I’d be happy to, sir!” Apollo set down his drink and scrambled for the bottle of sunscreen in their bag, as Klavier sat up and blew him a kiss.
“Ja, me too, herr Justice,” Klavier teased with a grin, his sunglasses low on his nose. “Not fair if you’re only giving one of us a massage!”
Apollo stuck out his tongue playfully as he settled in the sand between them. “Alright, but you better do me after.”
