one of my favourite enemies-to-lovers trope is when one gets hurt and the other is furious like, “who HURT you?” and then gets the reply, “why so bothered? wasn’t it like your big goal to defeat me till the other day?” and then the enemy just fumes even more, “I want you to be defeated by me. Anybody else who dares to touch you has to pay. Now for god’s sake put up a bandage, at this rate you’re gonna bleed out even before we reach our grand finale—”

🙄🙄🙄🙄

Isn’t “ships don’t have to be canon, or even be something that could reasonably happen in canon, to be enjoyable and interesting” like, Shipping 101?

unfortunately antis failed shipping 101 and are unwilling to retake it

As a Brit I’d like to clarify that, while I do know exactly what you’re talking about, it’s a perversion restricted to upper class English people and none of the rest of us abide by it

If someone says “will you be mother?” while looking at you over a teapot, you’re in the room with someone whose father has enough money to buy yours & you should throw a scone in their face and run for the hills
