Honestly, writing fanfiction can be so helpful for discovering stuff about you and/or you source (be it noema, memories, or other things). Not to say that it will always be accurate, but it is an exercise and makes you think deeply about things.

I honestly feel a little bad for “ex-proshippers” because that just means that antis actually convinced them they were doing something wrong and/or harmful. You aren’t doing harm by make/consuming fiction, no matter how fucked up it may be. It’s all fictional, everyone is safe. You’re doing great.
It makes me sad every time I see an “ex proshipper”.
