i have to wonder what exactly is the definition of “interact” is in the context of a DNIs on tumblr. cause i’m certainly not checking every op of every random post that crosses my dash, especially if it’s some random shitpost unrelated to whatever discourse people are currently invested in. personally i take it as: do not follow, send messages via ask/dm, and essentially leave them alone on a personal basis. but where do likes and reblogs fall? especially on content unrelated to DNIs and thus something one would have to go out of their way to see? what about replys? are they a grey area since replys could be directed at anyone or even no one? these questions came to me as i saw some blogs complain about interactions from people on their DNIs, but since they didn’t say how they were interacted with i had to wonder if someone had accidentally hit like or had reblogged something unrelated to discourse.

but yeah, i don’t have the time or the inclination to go through every single one of my notifs or the account of someone who made a funny post. it just ain’t gonna happen. block me and cry about it, idc

Yeah we’ve had people attack/harass us for liking/reblogging one of their posts. (There was no dni in the tags of the post)
