is actually funny how if you see the main ace attorney games in a retrospective, Phoenix slowly stops being an everyman and turns into a quasi-gary stu. What Kristoph, Lana and Damond did is bad and should be punished, but Phoenix gets a pass because “lol typical nick behavior”. Phoenix is given a pass that many characters wished they’ve got, to the point of breaching the ethical lawyer code (“everyone deserves to defend themselves”) and not getting penalized by it in any way, something that I’m sure Kris or another lawyer were to do and would’ve gotten their asses beaten by the narrative.I love Nick, but damn the devs shouldn’t make their favoritism so obvious Xp.
