i forget which post, exactly, these comments were on, because it was a week ago (i think?) and i deleted them as soon as i took these screenshots, but it was about this whole incident
tldr: minor antis dig up an adult proshipper’s nsfw blog to shame them for being disgusting and “a pedophile,” nothing we haven’t seen before
let’s look at the first screenshot
first message is already on the offensive, which ain’t a good look. it’s very interesting how antis choose which words they want to use to gain sympathy or shame people into backing down (ex: “rape incest artist” and “bullying”)
i can’t say whether or not the person who made the call out post ever apologized, since i don’t check their account, but i don’t really think it matters. the damage is done. if they did apologize, then that’s great, and even better if they learned something — hopefully they’ll think twice before slandering someone for the crime of being kinky in private in the future
saying that i am bullying someone by screenshoting a single one of their public posts is rather disingenuous and hostile. bullying is repeated harassment, neither of which i did. it’s not harassment to put someone’s name next to something they said and point out how stupid it was
(shouldn’t have to say this, but if you follow me and you do harass people on anon, you can unfollow me, i don’t support that shit and i never will)
anyway, continuing with the aggressive language, i just think that saying “you have no humanity left at all” is very cute. this is an example of an ad hominem — a logical fallacy that occurs when you attack someone’s character, rather than their argument. that’s most of what this individual does
this is a weak argument, but slightly above insulting me, so i’ll address it — i never said that the nsfw blog has five followers, just that their posts get an average of five notes. which is true. their kinktober posts were getting six notes, seven, three, four, etc. none of their usual posts (that i saw) even broke into 10 fucking notes. making a call out post “warning” people of this, is rather like calling the fire department on a candle
i admit that i don’t know how many people interacting with these posts are children/minors, and i don’t care. not my kids, not my job to police the content they consume. this argument is based on a hypothetical, anyway. there’s nothing saying that this person isn’t followed by exclusively adults. i’m not gonna argue semantics and “what if,"s so moving on
i don’t know if this person had a link to their nsfw account on their main, and i don’t care. they did everything right — they kept the nsfw content somewhere else, tagged it all correctly, put it under a read more link, even kept it out of the main tags like antis are always whinging about, and blocked minors who followed them. just admit you don’t want this content to exist at all, and go. maybe consider stopping by your local church while you’re at it — seems like that might me more your thing
ah, so the linking to their public blog is a recent development! hm, i wonder what could have inspired this change. perhaps a fandom-wide call out post that thrust their nsfw account into the limelight anyway??? lmao, what’s the fucking point after that?
if they were gonna see an uptick in views (again, a hypothetical argument), then that’s entirely on that minor who made the call out post, not the adult who kept their accounts separated
i’ve never said that i cared about children’s safety, lmao. i mean, i do, but in the sense that i believe in anti harassment and anti censorship towards everyone. this has never been a blog specifically for minors, and it never will be
again with using "bullying” as a buzzword. i didn’t leave them mean anons (people who do this, fucking stop) or stalk their accounts obsessively to gather dirt on them and unleash my swaths of minons upon their unsuspecting blogs. i made a single post calling them stupid for saying stupid shit — not gonna apologize for that. being a minor is not a “get out of jail free” card to escape from criticism
i delete all anti replies on my posts, don’t think you’re special, hun. i just don’t wanna hear it. y’all say the same thing over and over and over again, and there’s no point in debating it so why would i leave your comments up? make your own post, but don’t expect to come onto mine and say whatever fuck fuck shit you like
absolutely pitiful you live in this little echo chamber that’s genuinely convinced you that writing smut of fictional characters is tantamount to pedophilia, that people must be shamed out of whatever fetishes you personally don’t like, and that white knighting for some dumb kids makes you a better person
