Ok, thoughts on Boss / worker dynamic? i know teacher x student is a popular one, but boss x worker never gets enough love
Man, I love boss x worker, and not just because one of my f/os is my boss :p
Boss x worker has a different vibe than teacher x student. It can still be very coercive but there’s that adult edge than lends just a bit of ‘maybe this is okay’ (but it’s still not.)
Boss ships have some great tropes.
- Sneaky PDA at the company party/picnic
- Doing more and more personal ‘work’ for the boss
- Under/on top of the desk in the corner office
- Boss withholding a raise or promotion unless the worker goes along with what the boss wants.
- Wearing sexy uniforms/work clothes for your boss
- Being asked to ‘work late’.
- You can get in all those sexy gross 1980s businessman tropes of you’re into that.
- Being forced to take phone calls while in the middle of frisky business…
