I wonder if the antis who believe that anyone over 25 should be off raising children and not in fandom are scared
Do they fear a future where they will have to abandon all their interests and ‘grow up’? Are they scared of the lack of stability? Of not being allowed to be the same person they are now?
Or maybe they think that they will magically become a mature adult with mature adult hobbies on their 25th birthday? Maybe they just don’t think about the future, they just live in the here and now of being a teenager
I know I would be scared if i was in their place
I want to be in in my 80s and still writing fic. Fandom has been my constant companion since I was a child, The characters and platforms might change but fandom will always be there for me
I hope these kids realize that they can have that too
