What do you personally think is the reason antis are so intensely unforgiving?
Any time you are confused as to why antis tend to be harsh, unforgiving, make huge leaps in logic, constantly allude to being personally threatened, etc…please remember than the majority of anti’s are fairly young americans who feel a desperate need to control others behavior. Proshippers often compare them to evangelicals or radfems because they participate in the same kind of white western purity culture.
And while many that participate in this culture can be forgiving as long as you’re willing to convert, many are not and view those who have sinned as being unsalvageable. They also tend to dehumanize those who don’t play by the same strict fandom rules as them, which makes forgiving them or even sympathizing with them way harder. And this is by design to keep anti circles as insular and pure as possible.
