Gotta chime in with the age gap f/os: My f/o is canonically an immortal universe-hopper that can inhabit the bodies of his alternate selves in different timelines. In one of my selfship aus, his mind and soul is around 5000 years old, while he inhabits a body that’s in its mid-20s. I’m 28, so I’m technically a little older and also waaaaaaay younger than he is!
