remember that writing dark fiction and stuff is a GOOD and HEALTHY coping mechanism that’s backed by therapists and smart folks, because it allows you to take control of the trauma you have been through, it can give you a happy ending, and it doesn’t hurt anyone. if there are elements and things that can trigger you, you blacklist and avoid them.

also, you do not need trauma to indulge in dark fiction. you can indulge just because you like it. it does not mean you endorse it IRL or whatever.

don’t let people tell you what you “should” and “should not” ship or write or whatever.
