I wish we could bring back ‘no girls on the internet’. I dislike how sexist it is, but I miss the healthy sense of doubt the saying provided. Nowadays we treat everything people share about themselves as fact.
Right? The specifics were toxic but the idea that you don’t actually know who any random stranger is on the internet is very important.
I hate seeing all these kids disclosing their age, location, diagnosis etc constantly.
Like man when I was 15 on the internet I was sure as hell not going to admit to it.
