So fascinating seeing that person go “You people can’t tell the difference between fiction and reality! Scooby Doo is just like a real dog! You want to fuck dogs!” Bestie I think the only one who can’t differentiate between fiction and reality is you. Unless your dog is saying “Ruh roh!” I don’t think they’re quite the same.
I think the only valid addition to the discourse was how wanting to ship Scooby-Doo with Shaggy isn’t problematic because of a bestiality angle, but it IS problematic because Scooby-Doo is Shaggy’s pet and therefore the power imbalance is innately bad.
By valid I mean funny. It was really funny to see that sandwiched between a recipe blogger being big mad.
