Me writing something that you are not forced to read is not me harassing you.
Me writing something about trauma or abuse has nothing to do with your trauma and abuse.
Me writing something that you don’t like is not my problem.
I don’t have any responsibility not to write something because someone who would be upset by it might read it.

Antis harassed me into removing my fanfic that helped me uncover repressed trauma and had 10k hits on AO3. It was well loved because I explored trauma through it and indulged a fetish in a fandom that has such scarce material of said fetish.
They had every ability to not read it.
They had the ability to ignore it.
Instead, they harassed me for having trauma so deeply the fanfic wasn’t all I was ashamed of, but what happened to me to cause it to exist.
YOU HURT ACTUAL PEOPLE OVER YOUR FOCUS ON FICTION.
I hope if you haven’t already, you have the ability to put it back up some day. That’s so awful. I’m so sorry.
