I would suggest having seperate terms for adult/teen and adult/child ships maybe, since they’re both adult/minor but the squick level can be very different. I know plenty of adult/teen shippers find adult/child very squicky. I guess the best term I’ve seen is lolisho ships? But that could also easily refer to toy ships, so idk. Just a suggestion ^^
Yes! we’ve been trying to think of a way to separate this too.
maybe cradle ship for adult x child
and
xgen ship (cross generation) ship for adult x teen?
I’d say just gen ship but gen already means something different in fandom.
