HSL is about a teenager called satou who takes home a child called shio and satou tries to create this paradise where they try to live out a romantic fantasy of some sort. On the surface she isn’t unkind or abusive to shio, but there is a big power imbalance and satou takes advantage of her.Satou judges others around her for impure actions and thoughts even though I believe she is just as impure but has convinced herself she is pure and it’s ok. Shio’s brother, as well as others are trying to find her.Though as much as she tries to pretend otherwise, it’s all about what satou wants, not what shio really wants.
