also like in all seriousness furry hate is 10000% a warning sign as a sort of garden-variety expression of homophobia and transphobia. call me insane or delusional, and pardon the animal metaphor, but furries are consistently one of several common canaries in the coal mine when it comes to Acceptable and Reasonable hatred of Degeneracy. it almost always snowballs from there, too!
