Suddenly, my fear of private forums where the mods become power hungry suddenly went away after learning that the asking for IDs thing wasn’t a one off thing with my former fave fic writer. Sorry for the run on sentence there, but god speed on your self-shipping forum, I think I’ll actually join so long as my ID isn’t needed.
Anon, if I start asking people for their IDs the evil has won and you need to run the other direction. (Half joking, half serious 🤣)
Tbh we are still thinking pretty seriously of making that forum when we have the money to fund it ourselves.
