Found a post about people who didn’t know how to cook eggs, it has like 20,000 notes and the notes were horrid and mocking, only a few were teaching them. I thought Tumblr was meant to be the kinder space, guess there is no escape from ableism :(

Unfortunately while there is a lot of kindness on Tumblr there are also a lot of assholes and ableists..
It’s really sad when people treat someone not knowing something and wanting to learn as something to make fun.
People in general need to understand that not everyone comes from the same background they do; not everyone has had the ability to learn the things they have. Not everyone is abled in a way that makes it possible to do everything they can.
