Can you please stop censoring people’s url’s when you post screenshots of them saying stupid shit so I can block (and maybe report) them? It makes me feel safe, and even though you might be thinking “oh, but then OP might be harrased” I promise not to, and even if there is a chance that someone does, think of it this way: Would you rather have the ship-and-let-ship people feel safe, or would you rather have the shitty people you react to feel safe? Who *deserves* it more? THEY’RE the ones sending death threats. THEY’RE the ones spreading libel around, calling proshippers pedos. *THEY’RE* the ones who tell us to kill ourselves. Surely we deserve safety more than them, right? Again, I’m anti harrasment, but I think exposing them is worth the risk of them getting hate. I mean, it’s not like they hold back on “exposing” us, right? So what’s the big deal? Show the urls already!
Frankly, the system is of several minds about this, unsurprisingly.
On the one hand, yes, some of us agree that it’s best to share the URLs. They are posting the material we share publicly with the intent to share it, it’s not breaching privacy to share it with the URL intact so that people can block them.
On the other hand, we have a lot of followers at the point, and we absolutely don’t want to have our sharing of the URLs lead to harassment of fancops.
We are wholesale against harassment, and even if none of our followers actually harasses any fancops, leaving the URLs intact makes it much easier for those fancops to send anon hate to themselves and then turn around and claim that we sicced our followers on them.
Friends, what should we do?
