Children are under the absolute power of their parents in our current social structure.

There is simply no ethical way to frame any violent actions of a person against someone who has total control over them and their environment as ‘abuse’ no matter the circumstances.

If a child is acting violently toward their parent it is the result of untreated mental illness, neglect, or abuse, all of which are the responsibility of that parent.

Saying that “children cannot abuse their parents” is in no way the same as saying “women cannot abuse men.”

Parents have total legal and environmental control over their children. The actions of a child are the parent’s responsibility.
