*adult* children can very much be abusive to one’s parents, btw. Especially if the parents are elderly, when they enter an age group systematically targeted for medical and financial abuse.

Elder abuse by adult children is a very real and terrible thing that puts parents in the a similar vulnerable position that children are in as minors.
I haven’t addressed that because the discussion was specifically about minors, and whether children who were minors could abuse their parents.
