Fun fact: antishippers always are up in my direct messages with my art account begging for Toyhouse codes and free art. I don’t have any pro or anti info in bio or pinned on my accounts but I do actively follow & interact with proshippers. I’ve told them I’m proship yet they still want the art so I just have to block them like So much for always being able to tell based on art style. It seems like if you don’t have proship in bio & pinned while they want something then they don’t give a shit until another antishipper calls them out. Like a ‘loophole’ of interacting with proshippers because they have content they enjoy while also not being hated on :/ Oh also there was this one Antishipper who had an adopt from me I messaged them saying “hey be careful I’m open about being a proshipper & fujoshi. I don’t want you to get hate sent considering your an antishipper or even just in case your uncomfortable with that. You don’t have to respond or get rid of the adopt, it’s just a heads up since it’s set to public & I’m in your dni. ” which they responded very kindly thanking me and saying they really appreciate me reaching out and that they just feel uncomfy with that content Idk just wanted to share since it’s odd how kind they are when you aren’t labeled as proship publicly even if you straight up tell them. (the character adopt person was 14 according to their carrd so I tried to be polite. I would have been very rude in DMs if they were an adult sending death threats over ships publicly while having a character I created)

The toyhouse / character adopt scene is wild, esspecially mixed with proship and antiship wank.
You’re absolutely right about many antis not caring who they interact with until they called out for it.
