All i know from homestuck is squiddles, the dudes that fall down the stairs, and buckets
The Squiddles are a cutesy, in-universe reference to the Horrorterrors, which are basically lovecraftian entities. (They’re not badguys and they don’t figure heavily into the plot)
The dude that falls down the stairs is from an in-universe webcomic (created by Dave Strider) that’s used by Homestuck’s author as meta-commentary on the plot. “Warned you about those stairs” is basically a metaphor for the incapability of doom or fate in the series.
Buckets are used by the alien species of Trolls in their method of reproduction. How is never specifically called out in the comic but it’s an obvious reference to the old internet phrase “to come buckets”, and indicates that trolls produce a more than generous amount of genetic material when completing sex.
