See– here’s the whole problem with antishipping and censorship in general, and it’s not what you think

It’s that people quite genuinely completely different ideas about what is sexual or nonsexual.

The artist may, very genuinely, not see that picture, or that pose as sexual.

But you do see it as sexual.

Now let’s imagine that you’re an anti, and they’re a proshipper.

You see the image that they meant non-sexually and interpret it as sexual (especially because they are a devious proshipper!)

So you spam and harass that person for creating disgusting NSFW proship sexual fanart.

And no matter what the artist says about their intentions–they really didn’t mean it to be sexual!– you won’t listen because you believe that they know your intention.

And this is why antishipping will never work consistently.

Because it’s based off of completely subjective feelings of disgust and assumptions about the intent of the creator.
