If your email is purpose-made for fanfic stuff and doesn’t have your real name attached to it, then it’s completely fine to use!
Remember, cyberstalkers need real information to doxx you.
Doxxing isn’t magic, it’s Sherlock Holmes connecting the dots of information that you’ve left around online.
Let’s say you use your email to sign up to a service, and you put your real name on that service.
Then later, you give the SAME email on social media as a way for people to contact you.
A cyberbstalker can google the email address and find that it’s linked to the service you used your real name under.
And then they have your real name.
And then they google your real name and find your facebook page.
And if your facebook page says where you live….
But you can avoid all of this by just not using your real name or saying where you life online!
