Character A has to pretend to be captured by their own team to infiltrate an enemy base. This is particularly difficult for their protective partner, B, who has to force themselves to act like a convincing captor and restrain/rough up their beloved to be more convincing.
Once they turn A into the proper enemy, B has to wait for A’s signal to meet back up with them. They watch their partner being dragged away in a forced stoic silence, quietly seething at being unable to protect them
