Okay so maybe the OTW is in some danger after all

It turns out Board Elections for the OTW are set for August 11-14. A majority of seats are up for election.

People with all kinds of agendas regarding how the OTW and AO3 are run will be rallying support to influence this election.

Please if you care about maintaining the archive make sure that you have paid your yearly donation to AO3. $10 entitles you to vote and you have to do so ahead of the election.

If maintaining AO3 as a space away from corporate interests is important to you, please consider voting in this election.
