Kiss Prompt 3: Goodbye
In the wake of their arrangement, Byakuya found a moment before each trial to corner Toko and give her a kiss. Wordless, drawing her close for a moment.
Byakuya was more confident that somehow they’d beat their captor and find their way out, but Toko, shaking in his arms, was always confident that each trial would be their last.
He told her to be strong, and for Byakuya, she did her best. But she couldn’t help the way she felt.
Even though Byakuya assured her that it would be alright, in Toko’s mind each kiss was a potential kiss goodbye.
