👉 Sometimes, what one audience interprets as horror, another audience interprets as romance.

👉 Sometimes, what one audience interprets as romance, another audience interprets as horror.

👉 As an writer, you have to accept that every audience brings their own biases and ideals to their interpretation of your work.

👉 And that is totally normal and okay.

#i try to accept this
#but so many people think nightmare abusive partners are romantic
#usually i just shut up but sometimes I can’t help saying my peace

It’s not your job to police what kind of relationships people enjoy in works of fiction.

Bruh, this is just a critique of society. If you know what abusive relationships look like in real life, then no amount of reading fiction about bastard abusers will make you start romanticizing real abusive actions.

The solution to this is to improve education, not ban fiction.
