So like, self shipping question, for those questions in the self-ship memes revolving around having *done* things with your f/o, how do you decide what you’ve done? Is it just “hmm this seems nice” or do you have a system in place?Or is it something *more*?Asking for a friend
How do we personally decide, or how does a self shipper decide?
I suspect that every self shipper decides this question differently, and I can imagine a few different possibilities, from the strict to the loose.
- have done is anything that the creator has previously written or drawn or talked about their self ship doing prior to seeing the prompt.
- have done is anything the creator has previously thought about their self ship doing prior to seeing the prompt.
- have done is anything the creator is inspired to think about, discuss, write or draw their self ship doing after having seen the prompt and reflecting on it.
- (special bonus) have done is anything that the self shipper and F/O have done together in internal space or non-earth experience if they are a system.
Generally when we personally answer those prompts we are usually talking about things that have done together in internal space or non-earth experience, but sometimes we go with a ‘what if’ answer, based on an idea that catches our fancy and we think is neat or something we’d like to do one day.
