Whenever someone compliments our character writing in a fanfic, and they’re talking about one of the people who are in our system–
–it’s just. The most absolutely validating thing in the world.
Like– yes, person who loves the way we write this character– that’s them!
you recognize the real them! They are getting a good grade in being themself which is normal to want and possible to achieve 🤣
and when someone tells us we write good dialogue it feels like cheating because we’re just writing down a real conversation. 🤣
