So like do we start every fanfiction with some long ass disclaimer and that even if we mean something to be sexy we should add “the views within this fanfic are not to titillate nor arouse those who view it, viewer discretion is advised, and actions within do not endorse and should be taken as a cautionary tale”? (Y’know.. almost like how tagging is already implied)Do we need to site studies on irl abuse and shit in the forefront of every single thing we make to fucking hammer home “hey! We just like making fucked up fiction! We are aware about abuse!”And not even then. Antis will never be happy, and even if they did get rid of all of us ship and let ship types, they’d immediately turn on their own. (Like they already do)Anyway… Hi Sinister systems ðŸ˜âœ¨

We shouldn’t have to do that. Published books don’t have to do that.
But on the other hand, maybe it would be fun/funny to bring back long FFNET style disclaimers at the beginning of fanfictions. (no it really wouldn’t be).
And anyway, the amount of people who complain even when things are properly tagged tells me they wouldn’t pay any attention to disclaimers any more than they would to tags!
