TBH we can’t blame anyone who looks at the writing we’re updating every day and is amazed– it feels like a magic trick.
We’ve written with our partner at this pace many times before but this is the first time we’ve had the opportunity to actually watch the cumulative wordcount go up, daily.
Prior to this, we weren’t regularly sharing our work on pace with when it was written, and we were often writing through skype and discord, which meant that we didn’t actually see the word count until we were finished.
It’s one thing to look back after 4 and a half months and say “oh, oops, we wrote 500,000 words of danganronpa ocs”– its another to actually see the number going up every day and get a reaction to it.
